Advanced Budgets Data Display Problem

If there is a problem viewing the figures in the Advanced Budgets data, it is most likely a computer font size problem. Depending on your computer operating system, try one of the following. If that does not solve the display problem, please contact your computer technician or Practical Systems.

Windows XP

  1. Right-click on a blank area on the Desktop
  2. Click on Properties
  3. Click on the Appearance tab
  4. The Font size must be Normal rather than Large Fonts or Extra Large Fonts
  5. Click OK to save the change & then re-open the Cashbook program

Windows Vista

  1. Right-click on a blank area on the Desktop
  2. Click on Personalize
  3. In the top left corner select item marked Adjust font size (DPI)
  4. Make sure that Default scale (96 DPI) is selected rather than Larger Scale (120 DPI)
  5. Click on the OK button to save the change & then re-open your Cashbook program

Windows 7

  1. Right-click on a blank area on the Desktop
  1. Click on Personalize



    iii. Click on Display in bottom left corner


    iv.   Select Smaller – 100% (default)
    v.   Click Apply to record changes



    vi.   If still having problems, on the above screen click on Set custom text size (DPI)
    vii.   Check that is on “9 point Segoe UI at 96 pixels per inch
    viii.   Click OK 

ix.   Re-open the Cashbook program
