Advanced Trading Accounts - Transferring Stock from One Livestock Class to Another

Step 1: Advanced Trading Accounts

  • Click Transactions
  • Advanced Trading Accounts menu option
  • Click on the  button next to 'Trading Accounts'
  • Click on the  button next to the Trading Accounts type. e.g. Livestock
  • Click on the  button next to the required enterprise. eg. Cattle Breeding CABD
  • Click on the livestock class to transfer the stock out of. eg. HEIFERS

Step 2: Class Trans Out

  • Click on the  button in the Class Trans Out row and the corresponding month column For example: existing heifers have all had calves and the user wished to transfer them, so they are now classified as cows. The user has chosen to transfer these heifers in October


In the Class transfer from HEIFERS - Oct 2009 (or similar) window:
  1. Click on the drop down list to select the class to transfer the heifers to. eg. COWS
  2. Enter the number of heifers to transfer to cows. eg. 50
  3. Click OK

 
  • Note: The stock number for HEIFERS have reduced by 50. Opening stock number for Nov 2009, is now 0


 
  • Note: The stock numbers for COW have increased by 50. Opening stock number for Nov 2009 is now 225
