Budget Missing Date Ranges

If the date range is not showing at any level of the budget in the advanced budgets module, even if the date range has been specifically set, the most likely cause of the missing dates is that the Unallocated enterprise has been linked into the budget

The solution is to remove the Unallocated enterprise from the budget as it is not needed there. The current version of advanced budgets does not allow this enterprise to be assigned to a budget

Part A: Remove an Enterprise From a Budget

Step 1: Enterprise

  • Click on the <Enterprises> branch of the budget tree

Step 2: Delete Enterprises

  • Click on the Delete Enterprises button

ii. Click the enterprise (Unallocated) in the list
iii. Click OK
iv. Yes to Confirm message: 'Are you sure you want to delete the selected enterprise(s)?'

Part B: Reset Date Range

By changing the date range, any budget data that is OUTSIDE of the new date range will be removed

Step 1: Select Budget

  • Click on the top level of the budget tree

Note: At the top level of the budget tree, the following information is displayed on the right side of the screen: 1. Budget Summary (showing Cashflow, Profit & Loss and Net Worth) and 2. Default budget date range setting in the format: from mm/yyyy to mm/yyyy.

Step 2: Date Range

To apply a date range/period to all sections of the current budget:
  • Select the date range by clicking on the up and down arrow either side of each date option

ii. Click Apply
