Change Date Format in Windows 8 & 10

 

Click on  Change date and time

 

Select  Change calendar settings

 

From the dropdown list at the top, pick  English (Australia) . 

Ensure that the  Short date  format is  dd/MM/yyyy OR d/MM/yyyy .
