Change Date Format in Windows 8 & 10

Step 1: Control Panel

1. Open the Control Panel
   
2. Click on Date and Time
   

 

iii. Click on Change date and time

 

iv. Select Change calendar settings

 

v. From the dropdown list at the top, pick English (Australia)

vi. Ensure that the Short date format is dd/MM/yyyy OR d/MM/yyyy

vii. Click Apply to save changes
