If a client of Principle Focus, please speak to the Principle Focus account manager before making any changes to the Chart of Accounts

If the following error message appears when adding, modifying or deleting a chart of accounts items, the Chart of Accounts has been locked by someone with access to the data you are viewing.

To Unlock the Chart of Accounts

• Click Setup
  
• Settings menu option
  
• Click on the General tab
• Untick the Lock Chart of Accounts and Reporting Groups/Classes box
