Crediting a customer

Applying a credit for a Customer

T he following steps will guide you on how to create a Credit Note
  1. From the main tool bar, click on the  Debtors button
  2. Click on the  Invoices  tab
  3. Click on the  Add  button
  4. Enter the  Customer Name (or select from drop down list).
  5. Enter  Date, Terms, Form  type as Credit Note Ref.  (Reference),  Note , etc.
  6. In the  Detail  section, enter i nvoice details , Account , Enterprise (if applicable), Quantity , Rate/Price , and/or Total . You can enter as many invoice lines as required. Lines may contain Detail information only e.g. for a long description on a service type invoice.
  7. Enter credit amounts as  negative figures i.e. put a minus sign in front of the amount.
  8. Click the   Print   button to preview the Credit Note and then click the printer icon if required.
* Click  OK  to save the transaction.
