Current Bank Balance is incorrect

The current balance for one of the bank accounts, when shown on the cashbook transaction listing, incorrect, even though its opening balance and transactions are all correct

This may simply be due to the fact that the current balance has got out of synch with transactions added.

This can be easily tested by carrying out the following:

Step 1.  Click on the  Reconcile  toolbar icon

Step 2.  Select the appropriate bank (this will re-calculate the current balance)

  • Click on the  Close  button
 

Step 3.  Open  Cashbook  and check the current balance for the relevant bank

It should now be correct
