Current Bank Balance is Incorrect

If the current balance for one of the bank accounts, when shown on the cashbook transaction listing is incorrect, even though its opening balance and transactions are all correct, it may simply be due to the fact that the current balance has got out of sync with transactions added. This can be easily tested by carrying out the following:
 

Step 1: Reconcile

  • Click the Reconcile toolbar icon

Step 2: Select Bank

  • Select the appropriate bank, this will re-calculate the current balance
  • Click Close
 

Step 3: Check Balance

  1. Open Cashbook and check the current balance for the relevant bank. It should now be correct. If not, please contact Practical Systems
