"Date is not a valid date/time" Error


If receiving "00/00/000 is not a valid date/time" error, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Setup

  1. Click BAS
  2. Setup menu option
  3. If Last BAS Return this year is showing as 'None', drop the list down and re-select 'None'
  4. If PAYG W'Holding Paid To is showing as 'None', drop the list down and re-select 'None'
  5. Close Cashbook

Step 2 : Control Panel

  1. Open the Control panel on the computer and check the date format is regional settings. Make sure the date has slashes (/) not dashes (-) between the numbers of dates and the short-date format is 'dd/mm/yyyy'
  2. Re-open Cashbook and repeat what was being done when the error occurred
