Editing Trading Accounts

Certain fields of the Trading Accounts are able to be edited manually, and others are automatically generated and cannot be changed

1. Click Setup
   
2. Advanced Trading Accounts menu option, or the Transactions > Advanced Trading Accounts menu option
   
3. Highlight the relevant Trading Account (eg. Livestock) > Enterprise (eg. Cattle) > Class (eg.Steers)
   

The following fields can be manually edited:

• Natural Increase number
• Class Trans Out number - transfers to another livestock class within the current enterprise. The value is automatically generated based on the opening stock per head value of the transferee class
• Ent. Trans. Out number - transfers to another livestock enterprise. The value is automatically generated based on the opening stock per head value of the transferee enterprise/class
• Losses
• Rations No. and $/Hd
• Closing $/Hd
  

The following areas are automatically generated and cannot be manually edited:

• Opening Stock - this can be manually set or changed through the Opening Balances section or by clicking on the Opening Stock button at the trading enterprise level

• Purchase No. - Purchase Number and Values are automatically tallied from all Invoices/ Cashbook entries, for linked purchase accounts/ enterprises
• Class Trans In. - Class Transfer In, can be edited through the originating Class Transfer Out entry
• Ent. Trans. In. - Enterprise Transfer in, can be edited from the originating Enterprise Transfer Out entry
• Sales No., $/Hd. - Sales Number and Values are automatically tallied from all Invoices/ Cashbook entries, for linked purchase accounts/ enterprises
• Closing No. - Closing Stock numbers are calculated by the "self-balancing" system based on entries in the lines above. ie. If the user changes any number field (natural increases, losses, purchases, sales, etc.) the closing number will change accordingly
