Missing Items in the Chart of Accounts
The most likely cause of the symptom is that the chart item has been marked as Inactive.
Step 1. Select Chart from Toolbar
Click on the Chart toolbar option.
Step 2. Select Include Inactive Animals
Tick Include Inactive Accounts
Step 3. Missing accounts should reappear
The missing account should reappear.
Note: Inactive accounts are easily identified because they will appear in Italic font
Step 4. Inactive account Active again
To make an inactive account active again
Either:
Double-click on the Account
OR
Click once on the Account
Then Click on the Edit button.
Step 5. Account Active
Make the account active by unticking Account is inactive box
Then click on the OK button.
Step 6. Account will appear in Normal format
The account should now appear in the chart list in normal font.
