Processing a capital Reconstruction in the Investment Register.

There are occasions where companies will  Increase  /   D ecrease   their capital and there is a need to process that event in the Investment Register.

To process these transactions you will:  

Step 1. Click on  Registers >Investments  menu option

Step 2. Amend the Investment

1. Select the Investment to be amended
   
2. Click on the  Edit/Select  button at the bottom of the screen
   

Step 3. Select the Transaction tab

1. Click on the  Transactions   tab at the top of the screen
   
2. Click on the  Add   button
   

Step 4. Add a P urchase   / S ale

1. Add a Purchase/ Sale for the number of shares to be amended with a  $0 (zero) value
   
2. Click on the  OK   button once details have been entered
   

Step 5. Select the Valuations   tab

Step 6. Enter in the new advised/ market price value
