Reactivate Bank Feeds on a New Computer

If you have purchased a new computer and you have downloaded the latest version of Cashbook from the Practical Systems website and restored your company files into it, you may have noticed your Bank Feed window is not automatically opening up when you open your Cashbook program and/or your Automated Bank Data Feeds (from the Transactions menu option) may be greyed out

To re-enable your Bank Data Feeds:
  • Click on Setup > Bank Data Feeds menu option
  • In the General tab section:
    • Tick the Enable Bank Data Feeds check box
    • Tick the Automate Bank Statement Import On Startup check box
    • Click on the Manual Login button
 
  • In the Login to Practical Systems Data Feeds window:
  • Enter your Email Address and Password
  • Click on the Login button
 
  • Click OK to the following message:
 
You have now enabled your Bank Data Feeds and now when you open your Cashbook program you will automatically be taken to the Automated Bank Statement Import window (provided there are pending transactions).
