Reason Cashbook bank account won't reconcile with bank statement

There could be several reasons for this:

1. You have not correctly followed the bank reconciliation procedure. Please look at  How to reconcile a bank account ?
2. You may have altered the opening balance of the bank account. Please look at  Changing Opening Balances of Bank Accounts .
3. You may have entered a transaction incorrectly, duplicated a transaction or missed a transaction.
