Splitting an Employee Pay Between Various Enterprises

Allocating an employee's wage to one or more Enterprises

Step 1. Click on the Payroll toolbar icon


Step 2. Select Employee

  • Click on the required employee
  • Click on the Select Employee button

Step 3. Tick the box for Add Pay Transactions to Cashbook

  • Click on the Employee Details tab
  • Make sure the Add Pay Transactions to Cashbook box is ticked

Step 4. Wages / Salary Tab

  • Click on the Default Pay Rates tab
  • Click on the Wages/Salary tab

Step 5. Select the Pay Type 

  • Select the Pay Type you wish to allocate to a specific enterprise (or create a new one, if necessary, via the Add button)
  • Click on the Edit button 

Step 6. Select Allocate to in the Optional Cashbook Account Box

  • For Optional Cashbook Account, choose 'Allocate to'
  • Select the required enterprise
  • Click on the OK button

  1. By doing this, you can effectively split a pay across several enterprises, using a separate pay type for each enterprise.
